The “Cincy-Cinco Festival” 1st REGIONAL
SALSA DANCE COMPETITION

Event Dates: April 25^th-May 7^th

Semi-finals & Finals will take place on Saturday May 6^th at the Cincy-Cinco Festival from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM.

The “Cincy-Cinco Festival” 1st Regional Salsa Dance Competition, produced by CincyLatino, hits dance floors throughout six regional greater Cincinnati cities April 25-May 4^th gathering up the region’s best for a final competition and chance to win $1,000 cash at the annual Cincy-Cinco Festival, May 6, Riverbend Music Center Plaza.

CONTEST RASING AWARNESS REGIONALLY

Open to all professional and semi-professional Salsa dancers, the purpose of this event is to bring together a variety of Salsa styles and to highlight the talents of dancers from the region in a casual and fun environment. The goal is to raise awareness regionally (OH, KY, IN) of the CincyCinco Festival & bring dancers from all over the region to create a highly entertaining dance contest at CincyCinco.

Participant cities are: Cincinnati, Dayton, Indianapolis, Columbus, Lexington, and Louisville.

RULES & INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

Dancers will be judged on technical skills, couple dynamics (spirit and enthusiasm), originality/creativity, style, showmanship and timing. There will be one (1) Professional/Semi-Professional category for anyone ages 18 and older.

REGISTRATION

CONTEST DATES AND TIMES

Preliminaries will take place once at each city at pre-selected venues.
